I think you can have categories on the page as well, maybe other info to... not 100%. MarkDilley

You are absolutely right, I learned redirect at wikipedia an they give not only technical help, but also the wikipedia way of redirecting. We should make our own redirect way. Maybe that could be the the actual WikiIndex:Redirect, we should discuss it further. From the techical bachground (I tested it): you can place whatever you want after a redirect, but the #redirect must be start the page contents (no spacees or newlines allowed). --Peu | talk 07:11, 28 October 2006 (EDT)

  • It is neither a project page nor a help page, it is a basic wiki concept and merits its own page. :-) MarkDilley
  • I'm with Mark that it needs to have it's own page without a namespace, for the basic concept. AND, I also think we need to have a WikiIndex:Redirect page to explain how we do things here. TedErnst | talk 14:54, 5 January 2007 (PST)
