:Lol, now I get it :) But I think your message isn't explicit enough: I find it rather confusing, and if I hadn't noticed that a sysop did this edit, I'd have thought the page had been vandalized by a nonsense spammer. I think you should make it more clear, like "This website uses spam to promote themselves" or something. Also, what if someone spams the link to a concurrent website in order to make you give them a bad reputation? I just attack all spammers. I don't attack specific firms. Not all spammers get the message so anyone trying to get me to do a competitor could help that competitor if I or another admin just deletes that without putting the message on.
