Maybe one for the graphic designers, what about something completely different. My thoughts are that the icon should be something like a 'card index box' or similar, with the 'WikiIndex' logo on the front of the box — being as this site is an index of wikis. The current 'keys' suggest that we can somehow 'unlock' other wiki sites - which could be misleading. The old-skool Windows 3.1 card-box icon would be something like what I am thinking of. Another suggestion
Maybe one for the graphic designers, what about something completely different. My thoughts are that the icon should be something like a 'card index box' or similar, with the 'WikiIndex' logo on the front of the box — being as this site is an index of wikis. The current 'keys' suggest that we can somehow 'unlock' other wiki sites - which could be misleading. The old-skool Windows 3.1 card-box icon would be something like what I am thinking of. - Although not a professional, I did study graphic design :-) Ray King hired a graphic designer who created what is the 'challenger.' These are the ideas we had 5 years ago WikiIndex:LogoOptions. WikiIndex was conceived to be more like a train switching station and was called SwitchWiki for the first several years of its life. RayKing and JohnStanton thought that WikiIndex was clearer.
