Erik Zachte is best known as being a Data Analyst at the Wikimedia Foundation. Zachte, from The Netherlands, began as a regular Wikipedia editor in 2002. From 2003, he started producing statistical information as a volunteer for various Wikimedia projects, where they are now published under the Wikimedia Statistics portal. From 2008, Zachte became an employee of the Wikimedia Foundation as an official Data Analyst.
