This is the boilerplate for template: Multilingual main; the infobox with the pink border. Use this template for generating an infobox in the 'mother' or 'parent' article or category for an identical series of separate wiki sites which are available in differing wiki languages; such as Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis, JurisPedia, Metapedia, openSUSE, Touhou Wiki, Uncyclopedia, wikiHow, WikiMANNia, Wikipedia, Wiktionary (and other projects from the Wikimedia Foundation), Wikitravel, etc. Those separate wiki sites may be classified or named as a 'project' by their creator or owner, and here on WikiIndex will be categorised within 'Wiki Multilingual'.

This infobox template should also be used on an article or category page for a wiki site portal page; its URL typically (though not always) prefixed with 'www', such as www.Wikiversity.org.

All external URLs in an infobox field must start with http:// or https://, whereas prose links in the description can also use any existing interwiki link for external sites, along with conventional 'internal' wikilinks.
