Admin Tools Wiki (ATW) – the wiki that anyone can test at – was a sandbox test wiki for users to test administrator and bureaucrat tools. Whilst primarily aimed at assisting current and future Wikia sysops, the ATW was also happy to accommodate current and future Wikimedia Foundation sysops.
However, as of May 2017, the requests for permissions page has been indefinitely fully protected and a message saying "all requests are closed" is present. This gives the impression that the wiki is at least long-term dormant and perhaps even fully abandoned. As of early December 2017, the wiki appears to be fully functional again.
In 2021, the wiki was closed and redirected to Wikia Community Central.
