Welcome to WikiIndex! Great that you are here and added wiki that you work on. We have a preference for folks to use there name. If that works for you great, if not, then not. Let me know if you have any questions. Best, MarkDilley

Logo position

Hi Koveras,

please have a look on Template talk:Wiki#Logo position --Wolf | talk 06:57, 28 November 2007 (EST)

I've added that page to my watchlist, don't worry. :) --Koveras 11:56, 28 November 2007 (EST)

Good work

Hi Koveras,

you've done good work with the improvement of Template:Wiki. I only want to say: "Thank you." --Wolf | talk 07:22, 7 December 2007 (EST)

Say it, then, if you want to. X-D No, seriously, anytime. :) I'm studying software engineering right now, so this is like a free training session for me. ^^; --Koveras 09:12, 8 December 2007 (EST)

Hi, great work on the wide logos! I wanted to see if you are interested in helping to forward the logo to the actual wiki? I know Sean Fennel has done that work before. Best, MarkDilley

Not sure what you mean. :-/ Could you please brief me on the subject without me having to read all that text first? ^^; --Koveras 10:38, 9 December 2007 (EST)
Look at the logo path at 2kom.org_Wiki - it links to the actual site and not to the image page here. :-) MarkDilley
Hm, I really don't know how I can help. ^^ I am a good template developer but this one seems to have more to do with bots and such... --Koveras 02:25, 13 December 2007 (EST)

Sysop

Hi koveras,

(Trivia:) Did you know that you have sysop rights for this wiki? Maybe you should tag your user page with {{sysop}}. Best regards --Wolf | talk 17:19, 7 December 2008 (EST)

I have sysop rights? ^^' Heh, I haven't noticed that before... Well, in that case, I better place that template on my page, indeed. %) --Koveras 15:44, 7 January 2009 (EST)

Dispute Resolution

Hey, wanted to see if you were interested in dispute resolution, my suggestion is here ~~ MarkDilley

I have experience mainly acting as an administrator on controversial wikis where it's not usual to assume good faith and you probably have more experience than I do about assuming good faith. Please bear in mind that as Wikiindex grows the wiki will become better known and will attract more spammers, vandals and trolls. Proxima Centauri 07:44, 28 August 2009 (EDT)

User:Phantom Hoover has now started insulting someone else as well as insulting me and you'd better patrol recent changes in future, I no longer find this wiki satisfying, see here. Proxima Centauri 07:14, 29 August 2009 (EDT)

This user followed me to Novelas and showed that mediation isn’t the way forward. Attempted mediation just feeds trolls. Proxima Centauri 12:35, 30 August 2009 (EDT)

Retirement

Why? Phantom Hoover 16:53, 1 September 2009 (EDT)

See here. Search for "crap-chewing". ^^ --Koveras 14:54, 4 September 2009 (EDT)
Yes, I read that; what crap, and where did you chew it? Phantom Hoover 15:05, 4 September 2009 (EDT)
The whole discussion of politics and how to deal with trolls, personal attacks, and stuff. I'm just not suited for it, for I perceive it as chewing crap. Ergo, assuming that's normal admin job, I am not suited for being an admin, too. --Koveras 18:33, 4 September 2009 (EDT)
It's actually not a normal admin job; admins can get involved, but if you don't want to, you don't have to. There was at least one admin who was there but didn't get involved. Phantom Hoover 03:07, 5 September 2009 (EDT)
It's just that a certain someone kept posting on my talk page and asking me to do something and I, fancying myself a nice person, couldn't bring myself to disappoint them. It turns out, I wasn't successful, so I decided to stay away from all of that. --Koveras 04:35, 5 September 2009 (EDT)
Please don't let PC ruin things for you. She's nothing but an attention-loving troll. Phantom Hoover 08:20, 5 September 2009 (EDT)
<starts crying> Don't say that! She's just uum... well I don't know and I can't remember what happened but this this this hobgoblin here destroyed my precious wiki page! Who's next, I ask? You know what we got to do. I'll tell you what we got to do. We gotta talk to Pi over at RationalWiki about that oh what was it called. It is a script that can block Tor users or something. You got to talk to Pi. He knows how to handle these hobgoblins. See that's what they waz all talk'n 'bout before the whole thing blew up.... uuummm but just wait till after they show us how to fix everything... uh wait, whose in charge here?!?!? Lumenos 09:53, 5 September 2009 (EDT)
Look, I don't care what it was, I just don't want to be part of it anymore. And by "it" I mean dispute resolution in any form that doesn't directly concern me or the articles I started/edited more than once. If that doesn't require me to give up my admin rights, fine, but if it does, I don't care if they are removed. --Koveras 14:25, 5 September 2009 (EDT)
