I have no idea how the log shows your edits as self patroled ... but if you check [[Special:RecentChanges]], your edits still have the red caution icon, which means they are <u>not</u> patroled. Our software in general seems to have wierd configuration settings for many things ... sysops get blocked by the spam filter, yet new accounts seem to bypass it!
