WikiIndex's inclusion policy is that any website that either (1) is a wiki, or (2) calls itself a wiki is eligible for inclusion.

WikiIndex's inclusion policy is that any website that either (1) is a wiki, or (2) calls itself a wiki is eligible for inclusion. There is no requirement that a wiki be notable in order to be listed; its existence or past existence need only be verifiable.

Examples of included wikis
Vanity wikis
Vanity wikis are allowed to be listed. Partly this is to eliminate arguments over what counts as a vanity wiki, since large numbers of wikis only have one active user, or primarily consist of content contributed by only one user.

Dead wikis
Dead wikis are allowed to be listed, provided it is possible to verify that they ever existed. Part of the reason for this is that many dead wikis are eventually resurrected or have successor wikis, so these pages provide valuable documentation of wiki history.

Abortive wikis
Very small, abortive projects that only have a few pages are allowed to be listed, since at any time work on these wikis could resume and they could grow. Also, the sheer amount of content may not be the most important aspect of a wiki.
