Hey, I see someone at [[category talk:Active administrators of this wiki#Funny place to be for an image]] is pointing at this section as "consensus" for ... something to do with logos.
Could we summarize whatever consensus we came to on the [[WikiProject:Logos]] page?

::Hey, what do you know? The Media: pseudo namespace totally avoids the image page altogether. That's a handy discovery. I always thought before that it did the same thing as putting a colon before the Image: namespace. When you ask ''"Is it documented anywhere...?"'',
I suspect you are looking for the
friendly tutorial at
[[Wikipedia: Wikipedia:Picture tutorial]].
There's also far more detailed documentation at
[[Wikipedia: Wikipedia:Extended image syntax]]
and
[http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Images Mediawiki: Help:Images].
Those pages document the "image width syntax", which starts with
"<tt><nowiki>[[Image:...</nowiki></tt>"
and -- if necessary --
ends with something like "<tt><nowiki>...|150px]]</nowiki></tt>"
to set the desired size,
as alluded to by [[User:Sean Fennel]] above.
Should [[WikiProject:Logos]] mention the image width syntax?
I don't understand:
Why would anyone editing a WikiIndex page even consider inserting a hard-link to a raw URL
that begins with
"<tt><nowiki>http://www.wikiindex.com/images/thumb/...</nowiki></tt>".
rather than using the above "image width syntax"?
