:: Advertisements are contextual and are targeted at the user specifically, or based on the content of the page.  I see a lot of advertisements for hosting providers, monitoring tools, and other server administration stuff all over on many different sites because I search for those items a lot on Google and visit content sites about those topics that doubleclick has bugged with their 1x1 tracker images.  So Google AdSense knows that usually the most lucrative adverts to serve me have to do with tools a server admin uses.
