I'm not sure how this quotation is supposed to be relevant as I'm not self-appointed: I was given the position of an admin because others think I can be of value here. Others are questioning your value to the community due to your disposition. You can act childish about this and pretend like you are unimpeachable but the reality is that you make it a point to be obnoxious and abrasive to others, driving them away from the site.
