In the United States, anyone under the age of 18 is legally a minor. There is no ambiguity here. These are children, the site operators, and members know it, yet continue to discuss the act of suicide in great detail as if they are above or beyond both legal or moral reach. | In the United States, anyone under the age of 18 is legally a minor. I don't think we should be advertising their | I don't think we should be advertising any sites on their server, especially considering what seem to be sketchy URLs on .wiki rn that was added by a writer after they stole it. The owners of those sites call themselves 'master' and 'sergeantincel', they own incels.is (formerly incels.co/incels.me)/sanctionedsuicide etc, and have been dropped by multiple registrars. | ||
Which is why I moved the article I wrote to .com. We have nothing to do with incels.is and their sites/wikis. They just let us use a mediawiki installation for a year until they hijacked it. They lorded it over us the entire time and always tried to push sociopathy on the wiki. We created their "general disclaimer" ourselves, and also individually released under CC on our talk pages so they couldn't have them claim we weren't who we were after the new domain. Since we released under CC individually on talk pages, we aren't pursuing legal options against .wiki but we do have discord records of them claiming that we owned it. (Discord allows exports of private conservations, and retains deleted messages) But .wiki is mostly inactive compared to .com, and is dramatically smaller as well. It's our wiki stuck in 2018 plus garbage they added after they banned everyone. .com also has 5 languages. 14:53, 8 July 2021 (UTC) | Which is why I moved the article I wrote to .com.
