'''Wikijunior''' is a subset of {{tag|Wikibooks}} that aims to make content for {{tag|children}} from birth to age 12.  A part of the {{tag|Wikimedia Foundation}} (WMF), Wikijunior launched 7 November {{tag|FoundedIn2004|2004}}, and like Wikibooks, is a collaboration of {{tag|open content}} free books, specifically targeted at and for children.  Its original scope was to target children between 8 and 11 years old, but has subsequently expanded its age range.  Wikijunior is written in many [[:Category:Wiki Language|languages]], each available as an integrated subset of their primary language Wikibooks wiki.
