Template:Documentation: Difference between revisions

This particular {{tag|Housekeeping templates|housekeeping template}}, copied from the [[English Wikipedia]] (En.Wp) wiki, or other [[:Category:Wikimedia Foundation|Wikimedia Foundation]] (WMF) [[wiki]], is used to create a shortcut to the {{tag|Documentation templates|documentation sub-page}} for its actual [[Special:Templates|template]] here on WikiIndex.  It is copied (from En.Wp) in accordance with their [[:Category:Wiki Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike|Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 3.0 unported license]] (CC-BY-SA 3.0); the same [[:Category:Wiki License|license]] as used by many (though not all) other Wikimedia Foundation wikis; and importantly the same license here also on [[WikiIndex]].  Note that under a specific term of the CC-BY-SA-3.0 license, [[attribution]] <u>must</u> be given when copying and re-using such licensed material.  The optimal method is by declaring attribution, along with an [[interwiki]] link to the originating article, in the [[edit summary]] here on WikiIndex, as shown in <span class=plainlinks>[https://WikiIndex.org/index.php?title=Template:Tlx&diff=cur&oldid=199813 this example]</span>.
