==Description==
Most users of abandonware are people who grew up with machines running MS-DOS. (With or without Windows 3.1 or a similar operating system.) The reasons why they still play abandonware games (which is by far the largest catagory of abandonware) vary from person to person. Some like the gameplay, some think the graphics were amazing back then, some like the old in-game musics and some like the storylines. In the end it all comes down to nostalgia. This form of nostalgia is a good thing for if abandonware gamers would not exist, a lot of good software titles (and with them a lot of hard work from a lot of people) would have simply disappeared.
