If you're like to make a main namespace page for yourself, we can redirect your user page there and then redirect the talk page from there back here so you can still get messages. We really like it when people use their names here. :-) TedErnst | talk

I don't have any idea, actually. JohnStanton is the webmaster here. Maybe ask him? TedErnst | talk

What do you think about external wikiindex entry points?
Hi Spud Gun,
please have a look on Proposal:WikiIndex Pages on indexed Wikis --Wolf | talk 07:03, 3 October 2007 (EDT)

Yeah, I noticed that the transparency went away. I wasn't sure if that was just me, but now I see that it's not. Sorry about that. We can revert the change. I was just trying to make it fit into the box better. Best, MarvelZuvembie 14:06, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
- OK, I reverted it. I'd say that I have intermediate wiki skills, but I'm not advanced enough to know how to keep the arrow on the "Recent Changes" link from encroaching the border of the infobox. How do you keep the margins intact? --MarvelZuvembie 14:11, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
- I have now uploaded the new SklogWiki logo. All should now be in order. All the best -- Carl McBride (talk) 11:02, 3 November 2008 (EST)

Well, happy with wF? --Wolf | talk 17:58, 26 March 2009 (EDT)
- Very! Many thanks for all the work you have put into this! All the best -- Carl McBride (talk) 07:07, 27 March 2009 (EDT)
- That's fine! :-)
- There is a short discussion about the position of wikiFactor in the template. Do you want to join? I'll make first graphs the next days (such as size ~ wF or views ~ wF) --Wolf | talk 07:53, 27 March 2009 (EDT)

Dispute Resolution
Hey Carl, wanted to see if you were interested in dispute resolution, my suggestion is here ~~ MarkDilley
Thanks man
Noticed you have been doing a lot of helpful work around here. Lumenos 03:00, 10 September 2009 (EDT)
About that "dispute resolution"...
Hi. Sorry to bug you but we need 3 sysops to get the following articles unprotected. There is basically no one that wants them protected, as far as I can tell. We are not really sure of the purpose of this but, only that you are supposed to decide when we get to move them back out <shrug>. (Notice the statement at the top of these pages):
Talk:RationalWiki#Vote_for_re-insertion
Talk:A_Storehouse_of_Knowledge#Vote_for_re-insertion
Talk:RationalWikiWiki#Vote_for_re-insertion
Talk:Liberapedia#Vote_for_re-insertion
- I don't have time to trawl through these voluminous, and somewhat incoherent, discussions. What I do suggest is that you speak to the person who protected the aforementioned pages. That said, these discussions are probably best left on the discussion pages, rather than clutter up the article entries. All the best -- Carl McBride (talk) 05:56, 14 September 2009 (EDT)
Regarding "vandalism" and other issues
Before I am "officially blocked" by Smiddle, I would like to discuss a few things and hope you can handle this with authority, etc. First off, Smiddle just wrote that I was blocked for vandalism, and while his powers support this statement, there seems to be no action done and an effective reason. All I wrote (if that's what he is referring to) on the RecentChanges text talk page are suggestions, as the link so suggests. By saying "vandalism" on my page, it doesn't describe much. Vandalism of what? In what form? Some of my edits, yes, may not have been as productive as one may like them to be, but they are by far not close to "vandalism" at all. Another thing. Him adding random comments on user pages (offensive ones at that) for no reason makes no sense. Finally, how do you pick adminships? This is not for my interest; rather, it's to question the legitimacy of this user, that's all I'm asking. I hope you are willing to read this and consider what I wrote, thanks. ht14 (talk) 17:29, 22 September 2010 (PDT)
- Dear Ht14, it appears that the issue has now been "resolved" (see User talk:Ht14 and User:SmiddIe). If you experience any further problems please let me know. All the best -- Carl McBride (talk) 01:32, 23 September 2010 (PDT)
Lost revisions
Hi Carl,
per request, I removed some edits from the history of your user talk. I hope it's ok, please let me know if it is not.
Best, Wolf | talk 03:08, 2 October 2010 (PDT) ps: please rethink your wiki configuration for e-mail, sometimes an alternative communication channel is really helpful.
Merely following directions
Directions that I found here WikiProject:Wikis to Add. I thought I was doing some good, if you would rather I didn't add these, please let me know and if that is the case perhaps you should change that documentation.

wikiFactor reloaded
A wikiFactor cannot decrease, whereas the relevance of a wiki can.
I would like to discuss possible improvements of the wikiFactor or launching another measure. (This might happen via (wiki-)e-mail).

- Interesting idea, worthy of discussion. -- Carl McBride (talk) 00:59, 19 July 2012 (PDT)
narrowing down the problem with email verification
I (Manorainjan ;-) assume, that Your account is email-verified. Please add the domain part of Your email to this Table of results so that we can see more clearly, which servers work and which not.
