The articles tap into an already well-established community gallery of travel photos from around the world to embellish the content.

Travellerspoint is a travel community that was started in 2002. In addition to its growing travel guide, it also offers travel blogs[1], forums[2], hostel bookings[3], and a trip mapping function.[4]
Users contributing to the guide are able to share in the revenue from Google ads displayed, or donate their share to the Travellerspoint Foundation. The Travellerspoint Foundation in turn invests the funds perpetually in Kiva loans.
