Category:Belief — this category here on WikiIndex contains wiki sites and / or sub-categories which deal with various forms of belief; a distinctive phenomenon of humans. According to the Oxford English Dictionary (OED), 'belief' is a noun, and is defined as "an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof". Beliefs can be centred around various religions, can be totally non-secular faiths, and can be centred towards specific (or non-specific) individuals or organisations. A very common non-secular belief is the existence of aliens and UFOs! A belief can be exceptionally powerful; it can divide people, and at the extreme, can be the catalyst for war and criminal activities.
