Vinismo was a project to create a free, complete, up-to-date, and reliable guide of all wines in the world. It used the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 (Canada) license to keep the input of its users free.
The site included articles about wine regions, wineries, wine grapes, and individual wines and vintages.
Vinismo was launched on July 24, 2007, simultaneously in English and French.
As of 26 May 2013, it has been offline for a few years.
