Nutch is a nascent effort to implement an open source web search engine, or more specifically, a web crawler software project. This is for the original Nutch Wiki, founded in 2004[1] and powered by the TWiki wiki engine. It was taken offline in March 2006, and replaced by the Confluence-powered Apache Nutch Wiki.
