There are the two alternate spellings editting/editted/edittor and editing/edited/editor.
The Wikimedia software promotes the latter spelling, and the latter spelling is the more-common spelling.
However, the first spelling is the more-accurate spelling,
because the "i" after the "d" is a short-i rather than a long-i,
which means that the "t" that follows the "i" shoud be double rather than single.
Therefore, use the double-t spelling when writing those words.
