The Baltimore Collective
a community recollection of things uniquely Baltimore
(Maryland US) BaltoCo.org
Although years in development, theoretically, The Baltimore Collective wiki archive site is formally launching on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Enoch Pratt free Library in downtown Baltimore, in the beautiful & historic Edgar Allan Poe Room there.
An ambitious project, the collective promises to document Baltimore's eclectic cultural past and present, with an emphasis on the alternative or experimental arts — as on our Art_Spaces & Film_Video category pages. At this time, our most important page is the SITE_MAP category page, which lists many categories & wiki articles in various states of completion, or not.
The project is being built on MediaWiki. Principle developer and curator is life-long Baltimorean (or Baltimoron) Richard Tryzno Ellsberry, in collaboration with his lovely and talented girlfriend Vicki & the many creative folks around Baltimore MD US.
