Fan History Wiki is a fan run project established by fans for fans dedicated to preserving, documenting and writing fandom history. history Fan History is includes also a directory of people in fandom.
Issues
In June 2008, Fan History faced problems related to expanding too fast.
In July 2008, the owner of Fan History became involved in a controversy regarding her unethical revelation of people's personal information on the wiki. Over the course of the controversy, fans discovered that she intended to profit from the work of her fellow fans, and that she had been deliberately deceptive toward that end. Some fans called for a boycott.
