Liberapedia is a website that was created in response to Conservapedia. It modestly claims to be "Saving The World From Neoconservative Fascist Hatemongering Racists".
However its creator stated that it was created to parody Conservapedia and advises that: "most articles should take stereotypical liberal views and distort them to the extreme" The creator of Liberapedia, WillH has left the site. Liberapedia has moved to a new site where the new “founder” is Ajuk.
Unfortunatiely no none bought up the old URL of Liberapedia and it has been Spammed. This could matter because on March 7th 2009 Google put that site on top when users look for Liberapedia. As of March 8th 2009 this has stopped at least in the UK but the future is uncertain. Suggested action if other wikis get comparable problems.
Some articles are parodies. Others are serious or part serious. There are sometimes difficulties with readers not understanding that material is intentionally funny. Efforts are being made to put templates onto funny pages to show this.
Liberapedia now is yet another Wiki from the fertile Wiki farm of Wikia.
