The iPhone Wiki was founded by famous hacker geohot in July 2008, and was owned by him until May 2015, when he transferred it to saurik.
This wiki is used to collect all public knowledge about the iOS operating system (and its variants, tvOS and watchOS), and the Apple devices that run the software ( iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Watch) to give new hackers a way to learn existing knowledge before they start their own work. Everybody can participate, but you need to create an account to edit pages.
