Hello, WikiIndex. This is Star651. Now, obviously, I love WikiIndex, or else I wouldn't be here. I like this site because I can discover large but primitive wikis. MediaWiki-based wikis are the best; they look good (like Wikipedia, of course), and they're easy to edit. I have my very own wiki, [[Lizziepedia]], a wiki I named after someone I know (I won't give her last name here). She is somewhat known in our area of Michigan, but mostly among the blind community. Well, I figured that if I wrote an article about it, it would get more pageviews. Originally, I was promoting it through Facebook, which I had signed up for shortly after I got my site. I decided to use WikiIndex, because I thought to myself, "If I'm discovering other people's awesome MediaWiki wikis through WikiIndex, then why not promote mine?" My site is just a humor wiki, more like Uncyclopedia, except the person you write about doesn't need to be notable. That's the main difference between Uncyc and LP. But, that's all I have to say about that!
You may have seen me go a long time without editing, but note that I'm still in the wiki community. I decided a wiki about wikis was fun, but I am really getting into wikis about specific topics; I'm part of a [[IFWiki|gaming wiki]], [[Rosetta Code|two]] [[EsolangWiki|programming]] wikis, and I was part of a [[WikiMusicGuide|music]] wiki. You may not believe it, but although I've been in the wiki community for a couple years, I JUST recently joined [[English Wikipedia|Wikipedia]]. I am trying to get my wiki, [[Vitripedia]], to the top, so people will add info. I guess I have to export some from Wikipedia. Oh, and I forgot [[AboutUs|Internet-themed]] wiki publications! I may not be editing here for a while, but assume that I will be at least somewhat involved in the wiki community for the rest of my life.

You may have seen me go a long time without editing, but note that I'm still in the wiki community. I decided a wiki about wikis was fun, but I am really getting into wikis about specific topics; I'm part of a gaming wiki, two programming wikis, and I was part of a music wiki. You may not believe it, but although I've been in the wiki community for a couple years, I JUST recently joined Wikipedia. I am trying to get my wiki, Vitripedia, to the top, so people will add info. I guess I have to export some from Wikipedia. Oh, and I forgot Internet-themed wiki publications! I may not be editing here for a while, but assume that I will be at least somewhat involved in the wiki community for the rest of my life.
