There are two cases.
Use [[Template:Inactive]] ([[Template:Inactive Boilerplate]]).  Or simply change the "Wiki" or "Wiki List" to "Inactive" in the existing template.
# A wiki with an existing wikiindex page goes offline.
# A wiki without an exiting page is not reachable or is not a wiki when you attempt to add them to wikiindex.
 
In the first case, change the Wiki Status field to Inactive.
 
In the second case, fill all fields in the [[StructuredData]] template with:
* [[:Category:Inactive|Inactive]]

[[Category:FAQ]]

How do you categorize a wiki that is no longer?

Use Template:Inactive (Template:Inactive Boilerplate). Or simply change the "Wiki" or "Wiki List" to "Inactive" in the existing template.
