Revert, block, ignore is a tactic or strategy for dealing with vandals, trolls, etc. It is easier and quicker, in the short run, than the bold, revert, discuss cycle. However, it can lead to objections that one acted too hastily, and dealing with these objections can ultimately be more costly than it would have been to avoid assuming bad faith to begin with.
