Tagging MediaWiki has a wiki with extensive documentation. Tags like this can be helpful if you have a wiki and want to see if it works well with mobile browsers. For instance, maybe mobile users always seem to have weird carriage returns in the middle of their text. You can adjust for that and make the browsing experience easier for them. OK, this is obviously the result of mw:Extension:MobileFrontend. And there are no reports of problems that require the mobile edits to be tagged for analytical purpose. Therefore I think, this tag should be deactivated/deleted. Right now it only ballasts the Recent Changes list and similar places with text of no use at all.Manorainjan 02:12, 5 July 2015 (PDT)
