DMOZ (from directory.mozilla.org—its former URL), formerly known as Open Directory Project/ODP, Gnuhoo, and NewHoo is a directory that uses an open model for editing. Although not a wiki its method is similar to the Wiki Way. Its editing model helped to inspire Wikipedia. In 2017, parent company AOL shut down the site.
