archive.today – webpage capture — found at its URL: https://archive.is, and previously known as Webpage archive (oddly formerly at https://archive.today!, which now redirects to https://archive.fo), is a web archiving service website from Europe.

archive.is is similar to the Archive.org-hosted Internet Archive WaybackMachine. However, archive.is differs from Archive.org in that it does not provide active follow-on 'in-page' links (URLs and / or wikilinks). Furthermore, archive.is claims that "Saved pages will have no active elements and no scripts, so they keep you safe as they cannot have any popups or malware!" In effect, archived URLs on archive.is are saved as a single 'flat' page; whereas on Archive.org, they still contain live internet links (within Archive.org).

One feature of archive.is is that saved pages are available under a shortened URL link, similar to goo.gl and bit.ly. Another feature is that it saves both a textual snapshot, and a graphical image snapshot of the archived page.
