This shortcut template provides a language-specific mechanism by using the ISO language code for getting access to the relevant Wikipedia statistics page.

if you want to use it:

type:

{{wpstat|de}}

and it will generate the following:

https://de.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Statistics

or type:

{{wpstat|en|}}

and get something like:

https://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Statistics
