A deleted protected page here on WikiIndex is an article (or category) page that is the target of being repeatedly recreated, and is typically spam or other off-topic material. When an administrator discovers constantly recreated pages, they protect it so that only sysops can (re)create it.

Instructions[edit]

For users[edit]

  1. Nominate the offending page for deletion by adding {{Delete}} at the top of the edit box on said page, and wait for an admin to delete it.

For admins[edit]

  1. Block the editor who created said unwanted article or category page;
  2. Delete the said unwanted article or category page;
  3. Protect the title so that only admins may recreate the page
  4. If the user was a spammer, edit my spam blacklist and add the basic URL
