The wiki is small but growing fast with the help of many [[RationalWiki]]ans who are trying to add some sense and logic as far as they can without falling fowl of the [http://www.astorehouseofknowledge.info/Special:Log/block Conservative Christian banhammer] and a few have been trolling.  It appears there was quite a bit of money spent to get the wiki well designed and someone thought of a really good name for it.  ASK can't compete with the lavish design that the Schlafly family paid for at Conservapedia but ist supporters probably think ASK  makes up for that by being more reasonable.

A Storehouse of Knowledge or aSK is a general encyclopædia with a point of view specifically toward a biblical worldview. It was founded by former Conservapedia sysop Philip J Rayment, an Australian evangelical Christian. It began on 22 March 2009.

Site founder Philip J Rayment criticises Conservapedia with this comment: "However, it is not, and never will be, an encyclopaedia. It gives Christians, creationists, and conservatives a bad name by operating in ways that do not match Christian and conservative values. As long as it is like that (and it shows no signs of improving), I want it to fail." (from his personal website)

Clear effort is made on the presentational style and structure of the wiki. Its use of images in articles is in practice very limited.

During 2012, the site saw an increase in spam, but managed to stop this by requiring new users to conform to a particular format with their usernames, which an administrator would then change to their selected name. As of 2013, it is largely dormant, though to the extent any editing occurs, it remains dominated by the site creator.
