A featured article is a wiki concept, consisting of an article deemed highly worthy or significant to be highlighted or 'promoted' in a section, typically the lead section on a wiki main page. The English Wikipedia (En.Wp) (along with the vast majority of other language versions of Wikipedia) has a featured article which changes daily, while other wiki sites with less activity may have a monthly featured article or, on wikis with hardly any activity, simply a 'featured article' that rarely if ever changes. RationalWiki (RW) has a 'randomly featured article' section, whereas Encyclopedia Dramatica (ED) has an 'article of the now'.
