Spanking Art was founded on 8 May {{tag|Founded in 2005|2005}} by Spankart.  It was moved to SpankingArtWiki.animeotk.com on 25 January 2008, after {{tag|Ex-Wikia due to censorship|Wikia caved to threats}} from a troll forum ([[Wikipedia Review]]) and shut down the site.  Sometime during 2012, animeotk.com went [[Archive.org:20110707143737/http://SpankingArtWiki.animeotk.com/wiki/Main_Page|offline]] – but during April 2013, Spanking Art went back online at a a new url – SpankingArt.org.

This move reset all previous page views to zero (thus cancelling out its previous [[wikiFactor]] of 54).  As of February 2024, the Spanking Art wiki has 4,180 articles and 7,230 images.
