The Austrian School of Economics derives its name from its Austrian founders and early supporters. Members of this school approach economics as a priori system like logic or mathematics, not as an empirical science like physics. They strive to discover axioms of the science of human action (called 'praxeology') and deduce further truths. The purpose of this Austrian Economics Wiki, a Wikia lifestyle community wiki, is to create an easily accessible overview of the Austrian School of Economics, and its teachings, popularise it, and clear common misconceptions. Lastly, it hopes to be the place to get solid, well-referenced arguments for Austrian Economics.

In November 2010, a notice was added to the main page stating that the contents of this wiki had been migrated to Mises Wiki.[1]
