IdeaWiki is being set up to provide a forum for the raising and discussion of ideas between people around the world. Ideas can happen at any time and in any place, but few people have the time or resources to develop or pursue them. By having an online community where everyone can share their ideas, useful thoughts that might otherwise have been lost can be captured and opportunities to pursue them opened. The initial aim of the site is to capture practical ideas, such as how one might improve a product design or process, but ideas come much bigger than this and the site will undoubtedly grow with them. Many companies have realised that gathering improvement ideas from their customers can dramatically improve their products and services and have set up customer wiki pages. Unfortunately these pages are not always easy to find and ideawiki.org welcomes these improvement suggestions along with ideas about life, the universe and just about anything!
