Welcome to ic4, the collaborative website dedicated to the project Digital Rendezvous. The goal of ic4 is to develop an understanding of how ICTs can be harnessed to support sustainable development.

Digital Rendezvous is an ongoing venture. Be aware that you won't find all the answers to questions concerning ICT and development. Instead you are invited to collaboratively develop solutions and enhance concepts.

One of the driving forces in the year 2003 is the preparation for WSIS — the World Summit on the Information Society, and the various activities and events leading up to the summit. The summit took place in Geneva, Switzerland in 2003 and in Tunis, Tunisia in 2005.
