Wiki8c – 8c im Internet – is a German-language wiki that was created to support the members of an Austrian school class that did their final examinations in 1974, at the school Bundesrealgymnasium Akademiestraße in Salzburg, Austria. They stayed in contact ever since, and meet as often as possible.
To understand this type of community, one must know that in the German-speaking countries, students at upper schools do not choose their courses, but go though their curriculum - often 8 years - as a community of typically 25-35 students.
