Wiki.com is now a wiki-specific search engine, powered by Google Custom Search, that searches all kinds of websites that have been found to be wikis by Wiki.com.
Originally, when this wiki was founded in 2006, it was also a wiki-farm, which utilized wiki-technology from MindTouch.[1] The website had an affiliate website, called CentralDesktop, which offered free wiki-hosting service.[citation requested]
