Vaporstory is a collaborative attempt to create a fictional world. It consists of articles written in encyclopedic format about fictitious subjects; anyone who contributes to an article contributes to the essence of the Vaporstory itself. The name "Vaporstory" comes from the idea that the world is created as the sum of the constituent articles of its encyclopedia, like a "vaporous" idea underlying a series of articles.
