Many Wiki editors are frustrated with the neutral point of view in [[Wikipedia]].  To meet this wikis are developing where a specific point of view is acceptable or even required. Wikis with a strong viewpoint are sometimes political, religious, or secular or may have other viewpoints such as environmentalism.  Some wikis with a strong viewpoint tolerate dissent.  Others delete material that disagrees with their viewpoint and treat edits against their viewpoint as vandalism.
