: It's never too late! :-) Of course it'll be a big job to convert existing records from inactive to offline, but we could make a note on category inactive saying that template is deprecated and link to offline, and make a new offline template that's identical to inactive. I was also going to ask about preserving information, but that's all in the history so no worries. I'd just recommend using the edit summary to show when switching to the inactive template. TedErnst | talk 12:47, 15 Feb 2006 (EST)

Better named 'Offline'?[edit]

- It's never too late! :-) Of course it'll be a big job to convert existing records from inactive to offline, but we could make a note on category inactive saying that template is deprecated and link to offline, and make a new offline template that's identical to inactive.
