NumisWiki was designed to be a numismatic and coin collecting encyclopedia site. The goal was to have a lot of coin information be presented that will be of use to all collectors of coins. The Numismatic Encyclopedia was the core of the site.

The wiki ran on the MediaWiki engine, with a custom skin, but went offline sometime around January 2008.
