Description[edit]

Inside Northside is a collaborative project to create an information hub for the benefit of the community of North Minneapolis.

History[edit]

The Encyclopedia project, InsideNorthside, was dreamed up by North Minneapolis residents who recognized a communication gap between valuable resources and community members seeking those resources. The goal of the Encyclopedia project is to bridge that gap through the use of an accessible and editable website to serve as an information hub in order to connect those community members to the resources that they need.

The project is a completely non-profit venture. It is completely maintained by volunteer hours and the only possible future cost would be to host the website. The project is not the property of any one organization, but is made possible through the partnership and collaboration of numerous non-profits and individual community members.
