LGBT History UK (created June 2011) is an extensive wiki which aims to build to a comprehensive history of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people, places, organisations and events in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).
It is based on principles similar to Wikipedia, but takes a much more relaxed attitude to what is regarded as a "notable" subject for inclusion. Articles are generally written to a very high standard of presentation and content, and contain good references to reliable sources. Furthermore, articles are presented in an extremely well balanced style of prose, maintaining a consistent neutral point of view.
