Description
The MSP430 series of 16-bit microcontrollers from Texas Instruments has been the lowest-power CPU available for many years. While recently a couple of other companies have introduced a few CPUs that they claim run at slightly less power than the high-end MSP430 chips, many people prefer the relatively clean 16 bit instruction set of the MSP430 and are unconvinced that the MSP430 can be beaten in real low-power applications (rather than artificial benchmarks).
The MSP430 wiki is a place for people to discuss this series of microprocessors and the cool and clever embedded electronic things people do with it.
(Is this the same wiki as the wireless Chronos wiki http://ti.com/chronoswiki ?)
