Is there no way to get a wikiFactor on Wikimedia Foundation wiki? ~~ MarkDilley

Not from our established method we are using here on WikiIndex. WMF have disabled Special:PopularPages on all of their 850+ wikis, because they use their own customised version of MediaWiki - if you look at our own MW version, we are running 1.19.1, but if you say look at English Wikipedia version, they are using 1.21wmf11 - and all S23 stats shows they all use WMF-specific MediaWiki (though it seems S23 is wrongly reporting the version number for all of them!). If you do try looking for wp:Special:PopularPages - you just get "You have requested a special page that is not recognized by Wikipedia" - and this is an identical result on all WMF wikis, be they Wikipedias, Wikibooks, Wikisource, Wikimania, etc.
Template:Size#How to calculate the wikiFactor of a site, which discusses how to find wikiFactor stats. http://stats.grok.se is not really an acceptable option - it doesn't output say the top 50 or top 100 pages - it only outputs on a single named page! OK, it will generate a report for the English Wikipedia (which I've now added to the English Wikipedia article) - but not the other 849 or so WMF wikis, and I'd have to question the reliablity of those stats - EN WP has a wF of 381, yet wikiHow (en) has a wF of 663 ....
Google Analytics are also suggested - but I've yet to find any site which actually publishes those stats. Sean, aka Hoof HeartedAdmintalk2HH 02:45, 18 March 2013 (PDT)
